Okay, so 2016 is over. Finally. I’m sure many of you know how the need for that horrible excuse for a year to be over was. No offence to those who actually liked how the year went.
I was just thinking about how 2016 started off so amazingly and that first week was super awesome…enter second week: everything went down to the dumps. Alan Rickman, David Bowie, Harper Lee, Prince, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds etc. …those election results that just about knocked me off the toilet seat.
There are so many other things that went sour and I could write a whole post about it but I won’t. I mentioned earlier that if billions of people feel a certain way about something, feel sad or depressed, wouldn’t that tip the scales a bit? Because I feel as if it has. It’s extremely hard to remain positive when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I have no idea what 2017 is going to offer us but I hope it’s something great. I found this article online and hopefully it reignites a little hope in all of us. President Snow said something about Hope in the Hunger Games Trilogy. He wanted Katniss killed because she brought a flicker of hope to the people.
Don’t let your hope die out peoples. Here’s to a great year ahead.
