Collects INVISIBLE REPUBLIC #1-5.

I received this book from the publisher on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This comic book is set in the future in the year 2843 where the world seems to be in what looks like shambles.

The story focuses on a writer, Babb who uncovers a secrets about the former dictator, Arthur McBride. Quite a few people he goes to tells him that it’s a hoax and he’s chasing a phantom but he believes that this story is the true story of the dictator.

We learn about a woman named Maia Reveron, whom the journal belongs to. In the book we go back 42 years to when she and Arthur were still in contact.

Babb looks everywhere for Maia so that he can find out what the story actually is and he encounters bad people on the way.

I liked the way this story was writing and the graphics were extremely detailed. The last few pages made me anxious to the next part of the story.
